Calcedonia 2011
Here is another photo of my latest batch of Calcedonia, or what I call Mystery Opal glass. Adding copper to the batch makes the colors even more luscious! I love the reds, purples and pinks. Last year I made an Aurora sculpture called ‘Phoenix Wing’. I’ve spent the last year trying to replicate that color again.
